MUZZY Italian — At 9 months, Joey said “Mootsie” before he said “Mama!”

“As a result of the MUZZY Italian course we ordered last year, my children are speaking Italian,” says Pat, the father of Amanda (3 ½) and Joseph (18 months). “Each family member now has a permanent MUZZY Italian nickname we use every day. Each night when I come home from work, as soon as the children hear my key turn in the door, the children say, Dad, let’s play ‘Mootsie’ together, and Joseph starts to cackle like Corvax. I catch them and then we all go in to watch MUZZY together before dinner.”
When he was 9 months old, baby Joseph said the word “Mootsie” before he said “Mama.” At 18 months, he can already count to 12 in Italian.
MUZZY Italian is an important part of our family’s shared fun and learning as well as a powerful link between the children and their Italian-speaking grandparents who live nearby. Because of MUZZY, Pat wants to learn Italian, too. His wife, Lori, is planning to take him to Italy as a birthday present this summer.
